Beacon AVID students visit Goldey-Beacom College

Getting a feel for higher education options, AVID students from Beacon Middle School visited the Goldey-Beacom College campus in Wilmington.
Seventh- and eighth-grade AVID students from Beacon Middle School recently visited the campus of Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington.
Students met with Director of Admissions Randle Reed, took a guided campus tour and experienced a meal in the dining hall. They learned about Goldey-Beacom's admissions process, majors it offers, financial aid options and athletic opportunities.
This experience allowed students to see what possibilities there are for the future and gave them a chance to start exploring what their college fit may look like.
