The Beacon Middle School football squad defeated district rivals Mariner Middle 35-12 on Oct. 25 at Cape Henlopen’s Legends Stadium.
Beacon’s Jeremiah Jackson scored four touchdowns in the victory and Jamez West added one score. Brandon Somoza-Lima kicked three extra points and Tajear Freeman added a two-point conversion.
Mariner’s scores were by Maurki James and Keishawn Mansfield.
