Beebe Ball brings Vintage Vegas to the beach
Beebe Healthcare held its 36th annual Beebe Ball with a Vintage Vegas theme Nov. 11 at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Funds raised from the event will fund renovations to Beebe's Cardiac Catheterization Labs.
The ball is one of the biggest social events of the year. It brings together donors, doctors, nurses and medical staff to raise funds for the local healthcare system. The evening’s décor was by Styled, giving guests the feeling of Las Vegas. Attendees danced to the tunes of Kristen & the Noise A live auction featured items such as a four-digit black porcelain license plate, 10 nights in Hawaii compliments of Bill Schab, a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle compliments of Alex Pires, a remote control Lamborghini and beautiful jewelry.
“For 36 years, Beebe supporters have gathered for the greatest ball in Sussex County to raise funds and awareness to support their local nonprofit community healthcare system,” said Tom Protack, president, Beebe Medical Foundation. “This year’s theme of Vintage Vegas drew record crowds and raised money for our cardiovascular services, most specifically a new catheterization lab. It is always a magical night, and the Beebe Medical Foundation is grateful to all who came out to support us.”
