Beebe Bash takes a trip back to the ’80s

Event at Lighthouse Cove in Dewey raises funds for medical foundation

The ’80s made a totally awesome comeback, at least for one night June 7, at the Beebe Medical Foundation’s Beebe Bash.

Neon was the color of choice for many, while Decade80 provided a righteous soundtrack for what turned out to be an amazing night of dancing, food and comradeship.

Held at the Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach, the event raised funds to help support emergency services at the Margaret H. Rollins Campus in Lewes and the South Coastal Health Campus in Millville.

“We have 500 donors and supporters so that we can take care of everybody [in need] that lives, visits and comes to Sussex County,” said Tom Protack, president of Beebe Medical Foundation.

This one-of-a-kind fundraising event included video games, selfie stations, an open bar, a gift card pull, live entertainment, a live auction and more.
