Some of the faces might be familiar to Beebe Healthcare patients, but the office is brand new.
Beebe Healthcare cut the ribbon May 13 on its Primary Care Five Points location at 17388 N. Village Main Blvd., the former Greene Turtle in the Villages of Five Points.
The doctors, nurses and staff moved over from their old building on Savannah Road.
“We hear the community talk about a doctor shortage. We all hear that,” said Sara Larch, vice chair of the Beebe board of directors. “Primary care is critical. As board members who live in this community, we need the same thing.”
The new office has two nurses stations and 14 exams rooms with all new equipment. It mirrors Beebe’s primary care facility in Selbyville. There are 12 people on the Five Points team.
“For many patients, primacy care is the front door, the first contact with our health system. Facilities are an important part of our expansion to meet the needs of the community,” said Dr. Eric Hale, clinical director for primary care for the Beebe Medical Group. Hale has been a Beebe staff member since 1991.
In addition to Hale, the healthcare providers at the Five Points location are Dr. James Kirk Beebe, MD; Aimee Dell’Arciprete, FNP; Elizabeth Fischer, DNP; and Jessica Riffle, FNP. Another provider is joining the staff later in the summer.
“We’re growing; that’s the one thing that’s constant,” said Tom Protack, president of the Beebe Medical Foundation. “It’s about people having more access. When they walk in here, this facility is beautiful.”
