“Amanda brings a wealth of experience supporting APCs and helping organizations achieve excellence in clinical care, define scopes of practice, and improve quality, safety and engagement,” said Paul Sierzenski, MD, MSHQS, CPE, FACEP, Beebe Healthcare senior vice president and chief physician executive. “She will also play a key role in helping Beebe meet its strategic goals of improving access to care and enhancing our core clinical services with a patient-centric focus.”

Prior to joining Beebe Healthcare, Connoyer was director of advanced practitioners at the Springfield Clinic in Illinois, overseeing 280 APCs in primary, specialty and acute-care settings. She also held director roles in clinical operations, services and informatics, and served three years as an expert patient safety officer.

Connoyer holds a doctor of nursing practice in health systems leadership and informatics degree, and a master of science in health informatics degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. She completed her master of science nursing, family nurse practitioner and bachelor of science degree in nursing from Saint Louis University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, respectively.

She has numerous certifications in healthcare leadership, including a Lean Six Sigma healthcare black belt. She has published work focusing on optimizing patients before surgery and utilizing technology to improve patient outcomes.

“I’m thrilled to join such a phenomenal organization that believes in fostering a positive, collaborative culture,” Connoyer said. “It is evident that the team believes in providing the highest-quality care to the community, which can be seen in the success stories and positive outcomes we see every day for their patients. I’m honored to work with this highly knowledgeable and compassionate healthcare team, and look forward to the future of the advanced practice clinicians at Beebe.”

Connoyer and her husband Toby have loved everything Sussex County has to offer so far. They have four children, three sons and a daughter. They are looking forward to exploring the area, especially the beach and welcoming community.
