We had a gathering of neighbors on our street in Lewes, all laughing and excited with our eclipse glasses on. The photos from around the country are thrilling. But the best part of the eclipse for me was seeing huge crowds of people where no one cared about politics or religion or color. We were as happy as children together.
It is hard to imagine in these war-riddled times, but couldn't we as reliably and relentlessly as the sun and moon move in that direction?
