Bethel Christian School raises money for Japan

April 4, 2011

Four-year-old students at Bethel Christian School in Lewes baked chocolate-chip cookies and sold them to parents to raise money to assist victims of Japan's earthquake and tsunami.

Bible teacher Keri Faircloth said the students raised $55, which they will send to an aid organization.  Students have been learning about Japanese culture and studying the parable of the good Samaritan, Faircloth said.
