Bethel UMC donates $3K to Family Promise of Southern Delaware

The Mary Martha Circle of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lewes, recently donated $3,000 to Family Promise of Southern Delaware, a nonprofit organization assisting families in Sussex County at imminent risk of homelessness.
The donation was raised from Mary Martha Circle’s annual holiday cookie walk.
With the mission to prevent and end homelessness in Sussex County, FPSDE provided financial assistance to 35 families in 2022 to help them avoid becoming homeless.
The Southern Delaware chapter is one of the newest affiliates of national Family Promise Inc.
