Bettina Bayer celebrates 90 years

Bettina June Stamm Bayer celebrated her 90th birthday March 21 at her home in Lewes with friends and family, food and gifts, and the best chocolate cake, baked by Judy and Tony Demeno.

Attending the party were daughters Carol Downes Krause and Deborah Downes Goebel with their husbands, Buddy and Ted; and grandson Tony Zigman with wife Tracy and daughter Isabella Grace Zigman, Bettina’s great-granddaughter.

“I have been blessed with many years of travel and then to settle in Lewes,” said Bayer. “Also a blessing were the 38 years I spent with my husband, Robert F. Bayer, who ended his journey in 2002.”
