Betty Pauline Cullen, kind, loving woman
Betty Pauline Cullen, 75, of Long Neck Delaware, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born Feb.10, 1949, in Clarke County, Va., and raised in Brunswick, Md. Betty was a kind and loving woman, a devoted wife, and a cherished mother.
Betty is survived by her children, Holly Fogle and Stacey Cullen. She was a cherished mother-in-law to Eric Fogle and Harry Kuhn. Betty also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Jacob Shank, Joseph Shank, Jocelyn Parker, Harriette Kuhn, Cearra Fogle, Cheyenne Fogle and Kenzi McCracken; granddaughter-in-law, Lexi Thompson; great-grandson, Bentley Shank; and siblings Janet Gauger, Pete Gaynor and Steve Gaynor.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Cullen; her parents, Carl and Jane Gaynor; and her siblings Carl Gaynor Jr., Carolyn Crockett and Abbie “Naomia” Wortman.
Betty attended Brunswick High School and later worked as a bookkeeper for Food Pro in Frederick, Md., until her retirement. Betty was an avid reader, and a longtime bowler, and she enjoyed playing dominos with her friends in the Pot-Nets Lakeside community
A service to honor Betty’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at Melson’s Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A gathering for additional fellowship immediately following the service at Ocean Grille, 26089 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of choice in Betty’s memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cullen family during this difficult time. May Betty’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
