Blood for a Brew Tour makes stop at Big Oyster

The Blood Bank of Delmarva’s Blood for a Brew Tour is offering a unique opportunity to donate blood and support the state’s breweries throughout the summer.
On July 26, the tour made a stop at Big Oyster Brewery on Kings Highway in Lewes. Each donor was given a $25 gift card and received an official tour T-shirt.
The tour concludes noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Dogfish Head Brewing Co., 6 Cannery Village, Milton.
Other downstate stops have been at Revelation Brewing at Hudson Fields near Milton June 18 and Crooked Hammock Brewing in Lewes July 12.
Blood Bank of Delmarva vehicles roll into the rear parking lot of Big Oyster Brewery, which is part of an expansion project for the restaurant/brewery along Kings Highway in Lewes.
