Boardwalk Plaza and Victoria's Restaurant donate to Harry K Foundation

The Harry K foundation received a donation from the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel and Victoria's Restaurant in support of the 2017 Harry K Foundation Annual Christmas Ball, which was held at Rehoboth Beach Country Club Dec. 16.

Boardwalk Plaza, on the oceanfront in Rehoboth Beach, is Victorian in design and features elegantly appointed accommodations, furnished with reproductions and authentic Victorian antiques blended with modern hotel amenities. Its restaurant, Victoria's, provides room service to guests, as well as fine dining overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The glass-enclosed, ocean-view elevator provides easy access to the hotel’s custom-designed rooms, some of which are wheelchair accessible.

The Harry K Foundation, established by Harry Keswani, has vowed to raise money and donate 100 percent of these proceeds to help alleviate the problem of food insecurity in the state of Delaware. The funds raised by  the foundation are dispersed through the Food Bank of Delaware to support school backpack programs and 31 school pantries statewide.
