Body Shop Fitness Center to host open house April 16
The Body Shop Fitness Center will host a pre-summer sale and open house from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at 70 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, just steps away from the Boardwalk.
Guests who want to get their sweat on can try out the center’s famous boot camp group fitness class with coach Bruce Clayton at 8 a.m. on the beach for free.
Everyone who attends the event will be entered in a raffle to win a free flexibility session with personal trainer Adam Howard.
Discounted summer memberships can be purchased for $199. Summer memberships are valid from Sunday, May 15, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, and include free access to all the center’s group classes, including weekly beach boot camps.
Food will be provided throughout the event with donations from local businesses Rise Up Coffee Roasters, Twist Juice Bar and SEED Eatery. Early-morning guests can sample Rise Up Coffee and some protein snacks, while later in the morning, Twist Juice Bar will offer 4-oz. fresh juice samples. In the afternoon, SEED Eatery will offer immunity shots and fresh vegan cheesecakes.
Attendees can test their fitness with 60-second push-up and pull-up challenges.
