December 21, 2016

County Bank announced that Brenda Richards has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of County Bank's Millville branch location. She is replacing Sherry Huovinen, who has moved out of the area.

"Brenda Richards started with County Bank 14 years ago as a part–time teller. We are proud to promote from within our organization and from within the branch itself," said Tarrie Miller, senior vice president for retail banking of County Bank. "Brenda is already well known to our clients for her exceptional customer service and will provide our clients with a seamless transition."

Richards' financial experience started 27 years ago with Maine National Bank. Her background includes working for the Oakland A’s organization. Born in Huntingdon, Pa., she has been a Girl Scouts leader and has locally volunteered for Teach Children to Save at Lord Baltimore Elementary School. She recently raised funds for the American Heart Association, and the Millville branch location accepts donations year-round for Clothing Our Kids. She is an active member of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce.

"I truly enjoy living and working here in this community," said Richards. "I have built excellent client relationships and look forward to helping new and existing clients with their financial goals." For more information, contact Richards at 302-537-0900 or BrendaR@countybankmail.com or stop by her branch office on Route 26 at 36754 Old Mill Road, Millville.
