Brett Towers named president of Go-Glass Joy
Go-Glass Joy LLC has announced the appointment of Brett Towers to president. Towers has spent the past two years serving as vice president and chief operating officer of Go-Glass. Prior to that, he managed the Salisbury, Md. location for three years.
Towers will have responsibility over all six Go-Glass operating locations. Ken Joy, chairman of The Joy Companies Inc., which acquired Go-Glass in 2015, said "After my first meeting with Brett, I told our team that we had found the person to lead Go-Glass. Brett is smart; he knows his people, knows his customers and knows the glass business. He has the right stuff to drive Go-Glass to new heights."
In one of his first major moves as president, Towers and the leadership team updated the business's operating name from "Mr. Go-Glass" to simply "Go-Glass," and he hired Haymaker Media of Annapolis, Md., to handle the branding and marketing. Towers says, "I'm grateful for the trust and confidence that the organization has placed in me. I look forward to serving our customers with a great quality product, while continuing to provide superior customer service. As we transition into the future, I will be seeking new opportunities and methods to grow the business."
