Brian Keith Showells, 57, a Navy veteran, unexpectedly departed this life Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Brian was born May 10, 1965, in Beebe Hospital, Lewes. He was a 1983 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. Brian also served eight years in the United States Navy.
After his tenure in the U.S. Navy, Brian settled in New Castle County, where he lived and worked. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Jane Showell; sister Debra Showell; aunt Delema Lott; and special cousins Barry and Charlotte Lott.
Services for Brian will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, May 6, with a viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. Fourth St./Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Lewes.
