Brian Woodrow Wynkoop, skilled drummer
Brian Woodrow Wynkoop, 71, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022. He was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Frederick, Md., son of the late Wayne Woodrow and MaryAnn (Lambert) Wynkoop.
Brian graduated from Brunswick High School, Frederick, Md., class of 1968. To many who knew him, he was fondly known as "Bear." Brian had many and varied interests and hobbies. He loved music and was a skilled drummer. Although he enjoyed all genres, he was particularly fond of classic rock and roll. He also enjoyed traveling and especially loved visiting Italy. Brian's next greatest love was for animals. He loved his fur babies, rescuing and adopting many abandoned animals, and contributed to the ASPCA. Above all, Mr. Wynkoop enjoyed time spent with those he held most dear. He was a loving and dedicated husband, uncle, and friend. Loved by many, Brian will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Wayne Wynkoop. Brian is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Kimberly (Ladic) Wynkoop; his sister-in-law, Billie Wynkoop of W.Va.; his brother-in-law, Marty Ladic Jr. (Adrienne) of Pennsylvania; his niece, Kim Michael (Steve) of Florida; and his fur babies, Jack and Sofi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Final care for Brian has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
