Brina Hollander Krupp, retired teacher

With love and sadness, we announce that out dear Brina Hollander Krupp, 78, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, while on a Caribbean cruise in Dominica.

Brina was born and raised in Miami, Fla. She graduated from Emory University as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and taught French and Spanish for over 35 years in Maryland public schools. In retirement, Brina enjoyed mahjong, her community book club, and travel adventures with her husband of 55 years, Brian Krupp of Lewes. She was also an active member of P.E.O., an organization for advancing women's education. Brina was always a positive person and was there for everyone.

In addition to her husband, Brian, Brina is survived by daughters, Nikki (Chris) Donohue of Newark, and Farah (Jason) Kauffman of Lancaster, Pa.; her grandchildren, Erin, Sam and Jasper; and sister, Doreen (Murray) Snyder of Edgewater, Md.

A small, private funeral service will be held at Parsell Funeral Home, with interment immediately following at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lewes. Shiva will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11,  at the Krupp home. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Brina’s memory to the American Cancer Society, donate.cancer.org; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2.jdrf.org/site;  or Delaware Food Bank, fbd.org.
