Buttery, Gate House celebrate merger in Lewes

The owners of The Buttery and The Gate House of Lewes celebrated their new partnership Aug. 26 with ribbon cuttings with Lewes Chamber of Commerce at both restaurants in downtown Lewes. Wilson Gates and Brenden Shaw of Lower Shore Restaurant Group purchased The Buttery from longtime owners John Donato and Twain Gonzales in July.
