Cambria Hotel now open outside Rehoboth Beach
Almost exactly two years after breaking ground, Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach is now open off Route 24, north of Rehoboth Beach.
Described as an upscale hotel, the project was developed by Pinnacle Hospitality Group, which is one of the largest hotel developers in Maryland. The company brought the Cambria brand to Ocean City, Md., with Cambria Hotel Ocean City – Bayfront, and also oversees operations at Country Inn & Suites near Dewey Beach and hotels in Chincoteague, Va.
Pinnacle Hospitality Group Regional Director of Sales Stephanie Snead said the three-story, 104-room hotel opened the first full week of June. Things are going well, she said.
Showing off all the new amenities, Snead took the Gazette on a tour of the building June 11. There are indoor and outdoor pools; spacious rooms with comfort and style taken into account; a fitness center; an arcade room; spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors; and 8,000 square feet of meeting space.
Soon the pool area will have cabanas and outdoor fireplaces, said Snead. The goal is to provide guests with a resort-like experience, she said.
The hotel also features the Veranda Restaurant & Bar, a Mediterranean-style restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
