Camp Arrowhead hosts festive events with Santa
Camp Arrowhead rang in the holiday season with a flurry of festive cheer, hosting merry events that brought joy to the community.
With camp facilities transformed into a winter wonderland Dec. 7 and 8, children of all ages reveled in a delicious breakfast spread, jolly carols, holiday craft activities and visits with Santa Claus. Amid twinkling lights, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and Christmas magic as youngsters shared their cherished wishes with the big guy in red.
Festivities continued Dec. 11 with a charming Santa tea and luncheon for the young at heart. While socializing beside the cozy fireplace, guests were treated to holiday refreshments, warm beverages and lively libations.
"These events are a cherished tradition at Camp Arrowhead," said Amy Tootle, Camp Arrowhead retreat director. "Seeing the joy on everyone's faces, from the wide-eyed wonder of the children at the Santa breakfast to the warm, neighborly feel of the Santa tea, these events truly embody the spirit of the season."
