Cancer Support Community holds Butterfly Release

Cancer Support Community Delaware held a Wings of Hope Butterfly release Sept. 13 in front of the Beebe Healthcare Medical Arts building on Route 24. The release was a celebration of life to honor and remember those who have been touched by cancer. Hundreds of individuals attended and participated in the release in honor of loved ones.

Cancer Support Community Delaware is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Members are adults, teens and children with cancer, and their family members and caregivers. As all services are provided free of charge, CSC-DE must rely on the generosity of government, foundations, corporations and individuals to continue its programs.
