Cape Gazette readers celebrate their marriage at the tallest lighthouse in Spain
February 26, 2025
Ron and Angela Brown of Harbeson, accompanied by the Cape Gazette, recently visited the Faro de Chipiona Lighthouse in Chipiona, Spain. The Faro de Chipiona, an active 19th-century lighthouse constructed in 1867, stands as the tallest traditional lighthouse in Spain at 205 feet. Ron and Angela climbed over 300 steps to the top, enjoying a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and Chipiona. They also traveled to Granada, toured the Alhambra—a palace and fortress complex—and stopped to see the Rock of Gibraltar while visiting friends and celebrating their wedding anniversary.
