Cape High business students traveled to California in April to participate in the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference, where one team placed in the top 10 in a competitive event.
Cape High BPA chapter advisor David Barish said teams competed in administrative support, prepared speech, economic research, graphic design, small business management and intermediate word processing competitions.
The economic research team comprising students Alex Phillipine and Carly Favoroso placed in the top 10 in the nation, Barish said.
“All participants did a great job, and I am very proud of them,” Barish said.
