Cape High holds National Honor Society inductions

The Cape Henlopen High School National Honor Society recently inducted 130 new members, recognizing outstanding achievements of students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.
The National Honor Society is one of the nation’s premier organizations recognizing high school students who embody the core values of academic success and civic responsibility. Inductees have met rigorous academic requirements and have shown commitment to serving their school and community through various initiatives and community service projects.
“We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, dedication and service,” said Rachel Peacock, teacher and NHS advisor at Cape High. “Their commitment to academic excellence and leadership is truly commendable, and we are proud to be able to celebrate and recognize their accomplishments.”
The induction ceremony included remarks from school administrators, faculty and current NHS members, as well as the traditional candle-lighting ceremony symbolizing the four pillars of the National Honor Society. Families, faculty and community members joined in recognizing these exceptional students and their achievements.
