The Cape Henlopen High School Junior ROTC held its 25th Annual Awards program May 22 in the Cape Henlopen High School auditorium. Awards were presented by several local veterans organizations, and state and school officials. At the conclusion of the awards, a change of command ceremony was held for the cadets.

Special Team Most Valuable Cadets are (l-r) Camilla Lascano, Rifle Marksmanship; Gavin Felker, JLAB Team; Abbey Christopher, Drill Team; Lauren Melton, Raider Team; and Clara-Rosa Hertzog, Color Guard.

The Cadet of the Year Award is presented to Cadet Marina Santini from VFW Post 7447’s Everett Beach.
