Cape girls’ track coach George Pepper organized his lineup to go after the favored home team Caesar Rodney April 17.
“I figured if we beat CR, then the Dover matchup would take care of itself,” Pepper said. “But I guess I was wrong.”
Cape outpointed the Riders 88-58, but fell to Dover 75-71. The Riders beat Dover 77-69. Unless you’re a statistical savant, don’t bother trying to figure it out.
