Car overturns at Lewes Waves Car Wash

According to fire marshals at the scene, the driver of a car coming out of Waves Car Wash off Savannah Road, Lewes, hit the gas pedal, striking a roof support pole and overturning the vehicle.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m., Aug. 1. The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police. More details will be forthcoming.
The car is slowly turned on its side by Coastal Towing. The overturned car attracted a lot of attention occurring around rush hour on Savannah Road.
