Carol Ann Dorobis, avid traveler

Carol Ann Dorobis, 71, of Lewes passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at her home. She was born May 22, 1952, in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Dorobis.

Carol graduated from Sacred Heart Academy High School in New Jersey. She built a career with FedEx, retiring as a manager at the Newark Airport, EWR, and earning her BS in 2010 was something of which she was very proud. Carol had many interests and hobbies, including pickleball. An avid traveler, she enjoyed visiting new destinations in her RV and on her Harley-Davidson. Spending time with her family and friends was always cherished, but none so much as curling up with her beloved pets. She was loved by many and will be genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline. She is survived by her partner, Danna; her siblings: Joe (Peggie), Joanne (Tom) and Susan; and her many nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins- Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
