Carper works the crowd at Sussex Conservation crab feast

U.S. Sen. Tom Carper continued his busy schedule Aug. 24, with three stops in Sussex County. After touring Peninsula Cleaners in Seaford and Downtown Attic in Bridgeville with U.S. Small Business Administration staff, he attended the annual Sussex Conservation District’s Crabs and Conservation luncheon at the district’s headquarters on Shortly Road near Georgetown. The appreciation luncheon pays tribute to Sussex farmers and district staff. For more information on the district, go to sussexconservation.org.
