Charles E. Duffy Sr., loved by many

Charles E. Duffy Sr., 81, of Rehoboth Beach, departed this life Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. He was born in Rehoboth Beach, son of Irene Duffy and the late John E. Duffy.
In addition to his mother, he will be lovingly remembered by one son, Charles E. Duffy Jr. (Tamela); two daughters, Dalphine Olivia Renee Moore and Shirlene Deshields (Jeffery); seven brothers, James Duffy Sr. (Everlina), John A. Duffy Sr. (Diana), Bruce Duffy (Sallie), Carlton Duffy, Cornell Duffy (Stephanie), Kelvin Duffy (Pamela) and Marvin Duffy; three sisters, Linda Bonville (Diaz), Bernita Hackney and Marlene Duffy; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Charles will lie in repose from noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Faith United Methodist Church, 19940 Church St., Rehoboth Beach. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at People's Memorial Park, Route 1, Rehoboth.
