Christopher Brian Simmons, auto mechanic

Mr. Christopher Brian Simmons, 31, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017.

Christopher was born in Lewes March 26, 1986, to Brian Simmons and Denise Richardson Laris, who survive him. He was a graduate of WyoTech Technical School, and was an auto mechanic who loved working on cars. He loved playing with his friends' children and was an "Honorary Uncle." Chris was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, liked fishing, old cars, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather Richard Laris of Millsboro; grandmother Marianne Flynn of Rehoboth; four siblings, David Simmons and his wife Kristen of Havertown, Pa., Renee Moore of Jacksonville, N.C., David Laris and his wife Ashley of Bonaire, Ga., and Stephanie Murry and her husband Thomas of Ruther Glen, Va.; as well as special friends, Wayne Cooper and Chris Flood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services and burial will be private.
