Chronic inflammation, hidden cause of illness, is topic at Midway Chiropractic Jan. 13
Dr. Jessica Bohl will present “The Hidden Cause of Illness and How to Stop It” at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Midway Chiropractic in the Midway Shopping Center.
The presentation will cover the common causes of chronic inflammation which lead to feeling unwell, pain and general fatigue. Each person’s immune system reacts differently to daily exposures. This means an individual could have an immune response to a chemical in body wash or even foods thought to be healthy.
The definitive way to determine an individual’s sensitivities is with scientifically backed functional lymphocytic testing. After irritants can be identified and avoided, the body can move from a defensive mode into a healing and growth state. Bohl will guide participants through a program to detoxify the body without shakes, juicing or dieting so the body can begin to heal the tissues that were damaged from years of exposures.
This presentation is being offered free of charge to the community. Call 302-645-6681 to reserve a spot, as seating is limited. Midway Chiropractic, a branch of First State Health and Wellness, recently introduced this sensitivity testing and detoxification program which was previously unavailable in Sussex County. Bohl said, “The information I’ll be presenting has not only changed the treatments I have to offer my patients, but also changed the way I address my family’s as well as my own health.”
Bohl is a chiropractor with 11 years of experience, and she has been practicing at Midway Chiropractic for the past eight years. She is a former executive officer of the Delaware Chiropractic Society and was recently appointed by Gov. Jack Markell to the Delaware State Board of Chiropractic.
