Cinco de Mayo hits the stage at the Milton Theatre

New cooking show slated for television premiere
April 29, 2015

Milton Theatre will host its first cooking concert series, featuring a five-course Mexican-inspired meal prepared by Gretchen Hanson, executive chef and owner of Hobos Restaurant and Bar.

The premiere event will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, at the Milton Theatre at 110 Union St. in Milton.

In addition to enjoying some cooking lessons and tasting the final product, audience members will also have a chance to participate in a filming of the event, which is expected to be aired on national television for Hanson's new cooking series, said Michael Bruley of Premier Centre for the Arts.

“It's a cooking class times 10, Milton Theatre style,” he said.

The show will be filmed live and projected on a screen while Hanson provides helpful cooking tips while preparing a Cinco de Mayo-inspired five-course meal for audience members.

Tickets are $40 per person. For more information, call 302-684-3038, email info@pcade.com, go to www.pcade.com or stop by the Milton Theatre.
