Clifford W. Todd, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Bayhealth Hospital in Milford after battling multiple conditions.

Clifford, referred to by family and friends as Toddy, was born July 5, 1943, to Clifford and Constance Todd in Milford.

He wrestled in high school and graduated from Georgetown High School in 1961. The couple moved back to Delaware and worked at DuPont in Seaford. In 1966, Toddy went to work for himself, starting a service station business in Georgetown and then transitioned to another service station on Routes 1 and 24 outside Rehoboth. In 1986, he purchased his current facility and property, operating it ever since. His major hobbies were stockcar racing, rescuing muscle cars, razzing his family and friends, and rooting for the Eagles!

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Marc.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ellen; sons, Phillip (Petra) and Michael (Corinna); grandchildren, Ella, Grant, Michaela, Connor and Cole; as well as his brother, Wayne; and sister, Sarah.
