CLOSURE: Work underway on New Road in Lewes

The Delaware Department of Transportation recently announced lane and road closures on New Road and Forecastle Road through the end of November so Chesapeake Utilities can install/relocate a gas line.
From Oct. 7 to Saturday, Nov. 30, New Road eastbound will be closed between Creekside Drive and Park Road. A detour route will be marked.
From Oct. 7 to Saturday, Nov. 30, Forecastle Road will be closed in both directions. Motorists who want to access New Road from Forecastle Road will take Lightship Lane to Captains Circle.
