Col. David Hall Chapter DAR honors Jane Brady

March 15, 2024

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Col. David Hall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recognized the Hon. M. Jane Brady with the DAR's Women in American History Award at the March 9 chapter meeting.

Encouraged to select a notable woman from the state or community to honor, the Lewes chapter chose Brady in recognition of her being the first woman elected to serve as Delaware attorney general, an office she held from 1995 to 2005. Brady served as a judge in the Superior Court of Delaware from 2005-17.

She is also the founder of KINfolk, a nonprofit agency that provides free computers and Internet accounts to children facing long hospital stays, enabling them to keep up with family, friends and schoolwork.
