The Col. David Hall Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution opened the doors of the historic Maull House, circa 1739, to the public Aug. 10 for tours. In addition, the chapter displayed its graphic quilt, “A Legacy of Patriotism: A Homestead and the Maull Family.”
Taking second place in the DAR American Heritage Committee Contest, the quilt was designed to showcase the stories of the chapter’s namesake patriot, Col. David Hall, and the Maull family, local patriots whose descendants were the longtime owners of the historic Maull House, now the property of the local DAR chapter.
