Comcast store moving to Tanger Seaside near Rehoboth
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 9, the local retail shop for Comcast Xfinity will be located in Tanger Outlets Seaside outside Rehoboth Beach.
The new address is 36470 Seaside Outlet Drive, Suite 1920, Rehoboth Beach, which is located next to the Gap outlet.
The company’s local customer service office has been located in Five Pointe Plaza, outside Lewes, for many years. Comcast Xfinity customers received notice in their monthly statement for July, and a sign announcing the change has been put up on the window of the Lewes location.
According to the sign, the new office will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. This will be an expansion of hours over the currently location, which currently opens at 10:30 a.m., closes at 6 p.m., and isn’t open on Sundays.
