Millsboro Lions list used glasses drop-off locations
Millsboro Lions Club collects used glasses and hearing aids. All Lions Clubs in the county collect and store them for a short period before sending them to be cleaned and sorted, and to have the lenses read for prescription. Then glasses are sent to Third World countries and given to people in need, who may have them as the only glasses in their lives. Drop-off locations for used glasses and hearing aids include the big yellow mailbox in the Millsboro Town Center parking lot; Christian Storehouse; Millsboro Senior Center; Millsboro Public Library; Millsboro Post Office; American Legion, Route 24, Millsboro; Sussex Eye Center, Long Neck and Georgetown; Ocean Grill Long Neck; Conley's Thrift Store; and Dr. Jay Taylor's office, Ocean Eye Care, 18979 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach. Donors should not leave cases with glasses. For more information, contact Lion Greg Ryan at 302-945-1918 or 908-447-4880.

All of this was possible with the help of generous neighbors, friends and volunteers.
