Annual Developing Artist Collaboration event features works of local artisans

Crowds flocked to Dewey Beach for three days over Thanksgiving weekend to sample local libations and purchase items crafted by local artisans at the 7th annual Dewey Sip & Shop hosted by Developing Artist Collaboration.
More than 70 local artisans displayed their wares and musicians entertained attendees in a new and expanded location along Dagsworthy Avenue.

More than 70 artists displayed an array of art, wood crafts, jewelry, tile, photography woven goods, clothing, soaps and other collections from Nov. 26-28.

Magician Jack Noel was on hand to sign copies of his children’s book, “Little Red Truck at the Beach.”

Zoë Seavey of Boxes of Tangerines displays a collection of whimsical, bohemian-style handcrafted jewelry.

Peeking between her homemade ceramics is illustrator and textile designer Emily Widdoes, who also offered woven blankets and prints.
