Culinary History of Southern Delaware book is March 14 topic

The Lewes History Museum will present a program by Denise Clemons, author of “A Culinary History of Southern Delaware: Scrapple, Beach Plums and Muskrat,” at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at 101 Adams Ave., Lewes.
Clemons will share the origins and development of various culinary traditions in the region.
Since moving to Lewes in 2005, Clemons has written a weekly food column called Cape Flavors for the Cape Gazette newspaper. She serves on the Lewes Historical Society board of trustees and works as archivist for the society.
There is a $5 admission charge per adult. Museum entry is free for Lewes Historical Society members.
