Dale R. Yost, retired cabinet installer

Dale R. Yost, 62, of Frankford, passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, June 20, 2024, at his home.

Dale was born in La Mesa, Calif., Feb. 15, 1962, to Glen and Phyllis (Crane) Yost. He worked as a cabinet installer for Cabinetry Unlimited in Selbyville for over 30 years. When Dale retired, he opened his own subcontracting business, Dry Installation.

In his free time, Dale loved teeing it up on the golf course with his family and friends. He was an avid surfer, enjoyed skiing, and above all else, spending time with his grandchildren.  

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; and brother, Rickie. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his mother, Phyllis, and his brother, Wayne.  Dale is also survived by his son, Shane Yost (Alison); two daughters, Jessica Crowley (Matt) and Crystal Marnati (Brian); as well as extended family member, Marcus Crowley (Bethany). Dale had five grandchildren, Skylar, Alexandra, Caleb, Brian and Izabo; and his dog, Benson.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be held in mid-October 2024.  

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Dale’s name to a charity of choice.
