Dale W. Scott, active Milton citizen

Dale W. Scott, 73, of Milton passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus in Dover. Dale was born Jan. 29, 1950, to Fred P. and Doris (Wright) Scott of Milton.

Dale graduated as valedictorian from Milton High School in 1968. He then went to Indiana University and obtained his MBA. Dale was a perfectionist in all aspects of his life. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of spending time talking with family and friends.

Dale loved Milton and was very active in town-related activities, as well as serving on the Town of Milton Water Committee. He was very proud of his garden and all of his porch plants, and enjoyed showing them to all.

Dale is survived by his sister, Shannan Scott; nephew, Dave Wilcutts and his wife Kim, and their children, Joel, Sarah and Thomas. Also missing him is his faithful feline companion, Mr. Boots.

No services are scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life later in the summer.
