Scott Kammerer, president and CEO of SoDel Concepts, announced the promotion of Dan Levin to director of human resources for SoDel Concepts, which owns eight restaurants in coastal Delaware, a catering company, a consulting and hospitality management firm, and Big Thunder Roadside Kitchen, a food truck. SoDel Concepts employs over 500 people.
“This has been a natural progression for Dan. He has been with our company for three years, and has worked in seven of our eight restaurants, as well as our consulting company. He has learned about every job position, and all aspects of our company.” Kammerer said. “Dan is young, hardworking and dynamic; we are lucky to have him as part of our corporate team.”
Levin, who grew up in Wilmington, attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he studied the culinary arts. He received his certification in human resources from George Mason University. As director of human resources, he’s responsible for the 500-plus employees and staff.
“I really enjoy working for SoDel Concepts. I look forward to seeing this company continue to grow, and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the SoDel team,” said Levin. Levin lives in Lewes with his fiancée and their two dogs.
