Daniel Rubolin, loved animals

Daniel Rubolin, 28, beloved son of Robert and Dolores Rubolin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his sister Joy; brother-in-law John; his niece Sarah Ward; uncle Daniel Rubolin; grandparents Anthony Malerba, and Theresa and Vincent Rubolin; and his cousin Gina Geib.

Dan is survived by his parents; a sister, Robyn Rubolin Rawlins (Ricky); a niece, Hailey Ward; his grandmother Madeline Malerba; half-sisters Kathy and Margie; half-brother Rob; aunts, uncles, cousins, and godparents.

Dan graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 2005 and received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship at Del Tech, while assistant manager at family-owned Casella’s Subs and Steaks.

Daniel had a great sense of humor and contagious laugh. He loved music and used his talents to create his own beats and lyrics. Dan shared an interest in cars with his father. He loved animals and received a certificate of training in dog grooming. Dan adored his pets, Frankie and Annie, who survived him, and Bucky, Sandi, Penny, and Parker, who predeceased him through his short life.

Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Condolences to his family may be made at Saint Jude the Apostle Church, Lewes, Monday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a Mass at noon. Internment will follow at Cape Henlopen Memorial Cemetary, Milton. May the peace of the Lord be with Danny Boy.
