Danielle Nicole Altares and Jonathan Ray Sarik announce engagement

Danielle Nicole Altares and Jonathan Ray Sarik, together with their families, announce their engagement.

Danielle, daughter of Cheryl Carlson Altares and Timothy Altares of Duncannon, Pa., is a 2003 graduate of Susquenita High School, a 2007 graduate of Cornell University with a BA in biology and a 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a master of science in nursing. She works as a pediatric nurse practitioner outside Philadelphia and is attending the University of Pennsylvania for her PhD in health policy.

Jonathan, son of Donna Sarik of Lewes, is a 2001 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS in exercise physiology, and received his MD from Jefferson Medical College in 2011. He is a general surgery resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

The couple resides in Philadelphia. A May 11, 2013 wedding is planned at Lauxmont Farms in Wrightsville, Pa.
