In keeping with a longtime construction industry tradition, Delaware Beach Storage Center hosted a Topping Off ceremony to celebrate the placement and installation of the roof on the building - the last steel being installed at the 106,000-square-foot, three-story storage facility. This marks the 85 percent to completion point of construction.
The new self storage facility will reflect the company’s mantra, Building Quality Storage From The Ground Up. From the modern facility design to the free Easy Access smartphone app to conveniently access storage units, the state-of-the-art technology and digital video surveillance to multiple elevators, Delaware Beach Storage Center’s goal is to provide all customers with a superior storage environment, including online unit reservations and secure payment options to make their storage experience as easy as possible.
Conveniently located just one mile north of Five Points at the Nassau bridge on Route 1, the modern facility has 680 climate-controlled (heated and cooled) spaces as well as traditional drive-up units, ranging in size from 25 to 400 square feet, some of which will be individually alarmed and have 24-hour access. Residential, community, commercial and professional storage (including records storage) will be offered. Also, the facility will provide a limited number of gated-access RV and boat storage, and secure indoor and outdoor vehicle storage.
Delaware Beach Storage Center is scheduled to open in May 2016 and is locally owned and managed by Blair and Timarie Thompson. The company is currently offering a Charter Customer Program which provides pre-opening rental discounts and a variety of other customer storage incentives.
