Delaware Botanic Gardens sets May events
A summer planter demonstration with Delaware Botanic Gardens floral designer Jan Poli is set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 11.
Mother's Day adult admission is free with a food donation for Food Bank of Delaware, Sunday, May 14.
Environmental scientist Jacquelyn Taggart from Envirotech will give a hands-on presentation on aquatic bugs from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, May 18. Guest will be able to explore the constructed wetland and enjoy Dogfish Head beer and pretzels.
An edible plants and flowers presentation with Stephen Pryce Lea, DBG director of horticulture and educational programs, and volunteer teacher Margaret Kimmel is set for 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 25.
